YOUR GRACE

Your grace

Like a gushing river
Cleanly rinses any filthy piece of cloth
When dipped into it

Like an outstretched burly arms
Never discriminating
Embracing all that come into it

Like a mirror
It reflects a beautiful image
When looked into by the ugly

Like a friend
Never deserts me
No matter how nagging I might get

Like eternity
Yet to be fully understood by humanity
An overwhelming love expressed by divinity toward us.

Like an exchange
Not that of the stocks
A divine and a beautiful exchange

Like a Judge
Who can question?
He justifies the accused

Like a Lord
Not boastful over his servants
But ever loving that He calls them friends

Like an anchor
It keeps me stable and focused
When issues of life tries to get me drifting

Like the breast of a loving father
It is so broad
The wayward child can be sure to have a place to rest his head

Like a fortress
Set on the hill
A refuge for the soldier who needs cover

Like a priceless gift
That divinity is set up for the eternal flaws of humanity
All stand in awe.
